The Environmental
services department at Southwest Memorial Hospital services a 138 bed
Nursing home and Hospital on thirty acres, as well as 3 satellite clinics.
The maintenance department (a crew of 9) maintains the 101,000 square
foot facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our services include security,
Biomedical Services, telecommunications, general maintenance, preventive
maintenance, safety, hazmat, disaster life safety and utility management
programs. Kip Kautz is the Facility Director. It is his responsibility to make sure we comply with
all of the federal and state compliance issues that deal with maintaining
a safe operating environment. Our Housekeeping staff perform the daily
cleaning and upkeep for the facility. Our staff is committed to the
mission, vision and values of our hospital and do their best to provide
outstanding customer service to our customers and to their fellow employees.
