Education Department

The Education Department is responsible for organizing and providing all educational opportunities for the hospital staff as well as public offerings. Continuing Education is a fundamental principle of Southwest Memorial hospital. The department’s mission is to provide staff education that will meet the strategic needs of the organization.

The Education Department also coordinates incoming students from many local schools/colleges. We offer Job Shadowing opportunities to High school students as well as Med Prep students from Southwest Colorado Community College. We also provide hands on education to a wide variety of students affiliated with local college programs.
