Jeanette Filpi, MHA
Interim Chief Executive Officer

Jeanette Filpi, MHA, originally from Grand Junction, Colorado, has been appointed Interim CEO beginning April 26, 2021. Jeanette has 30 years’ experience encompassing multiple healthcare systems and hospitals. Her strengths are in leadership development, physician recruitment, new program development, and collaboration to further process improvement.

Jeanette and her husband Gary live in Stuart, Virginia, a rural town at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains in SW Virginia. They have three      grown children, a son-in-law and one grandchild. In her spare time, Jeanette enjoys working in her garden, helping close friends work their vineyard and winery as well as spending time with her family.

Rick Shrader
Chief Financial Officer

Rick Shrader has over 29 years of healthcare financial management experience. Rick has primarily worked as a CFO or Revenue Cycle senior leader and has owned a healthcare consulting company specializing in financial and operations management and revenue cycle from 2009 to 2012. He has also worked for a healthcare real estate investment trust and has been in financial leadership roles for both proprietary and not-for-profit hospital organizations throughout his career.

Rick holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Louisiana at Monroe: a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in History. Rick and his wife, Kandice, reside in Venice, Florida with their 3 of their 5 children: Eric (22), Thomas (19) and Jeb (19). The Shrader family are sports enthusiasts and very active.

Kerri White-Singleton, RN, MSN, MEd

Chief Operating Officer
Interim Chief Nursing Officer

This role encompasses provider management and oversight, recruitment and retention of physicians and staff as well as clinic operations.

White-Singleton has over 15 years of clinical and administrative leadership experience in many modalities of medicine including surgical clinic practices, nursing administration, surgical services, managed care, quality, education and process improvement.

Kerri has worked at SHS since 2017 serving as Surgical Services Director and Interim Chief Nursing Officer. She brings proven skills in problem-solving, operational development, communication and collaborative medicine.

Kerri enjoys spending time with her family of 8 doing all things outdoors including hiking, biking, camping and kayaking. Kerri has been an active member in our community since 2015.

Travis Parker

Chief Human Resources Officer

Travis B. Parker is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Southwest Health System, where he manages the Human Resources department, overseeing administration of hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation benefits, and long term staffing strategies. His responsibilities include the development and administration of personnel rules and regulations, pay and job classification structure and programs for employee training, safety, health and morale.

Travis loves to spend time with his wife of 32 years, his two children, their spouses, and his three grandchildren. Travis and his wife also own and operate a Karate school in Cortez and love the physical as well as mental aspects of studying martial arts.

The CEO and CFO are Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) employees.  Southwest Health System, Inc. has signed a 5-year management agreement with Community Hospital Consulting signed in 2018.  They provide the operational oversight of SHS through the Senior Leadership team and report directly to the SHS Board of Directors.
