While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on AHA BLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA BLS Instructor, are the requirements for obtaining an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card.

2015 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC)

This publication represents the culmination of years of work by the most respected resuscitation researchers in the world. It marks the beginning of a new era in resuscitation guidelines as the AHA transitions away from the 2010 guidelines and implements the 2015 guidelines. If you don’t care to read the entire guideline update, some reference materials are provided for you to review. This new material is already implemented into our courses.

Thank you for your interest in continual learning and assuring we are providing the best possible care.
